Why Image-bearing matters to us…
CREATION—You, and every other human being, were designed at Creation in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27), to reveal the beauty and glory of the character of God, for the honour of God. That is God’s purpose of your life.
FALL—But when Satan succeeded in tempting humans to reject our Father’s Kingdom, the image of God in humans became corrupted, and we lost the purpose that God designed for us.
SALVATION—As a result of Jesus’ sacrifice, our goal is to journey together to restore God’s purpose for human lives—so that “captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free…” (Luke 4:18). This enables human beings to experience the Father’s desire for their lives—saved from our sin to become “conformed to the image of his Son.” (Romans 8:29) This will honour our Father greatly as we choose to become increasingly like Him.

Learn the basics of Jesus’ method of making disciples who make disciples—who look like Jesus.

Apply what you have learned in BOOTCAMP. Do this with a coach or learn to coach yourself.

If you feels God’s calling to make disciples, this is for you.
The DiscipleMaker’s Journey COACH module is for those that hear God’s call to COACH coaches.

Always start with BOOTCAMP.
This will give you the foundations to build on.
Some people like to lead BOOTCAMP with friends before going on to GO!

Jesus taught His disciples in community. So we would really encourage you to join a cohort if you can.
Learning in community can be extremely rewarding as you can learn from the experience and insights of others.
Perhaps pray for God to show you who to do this with? If there are no-one around you, please use the materials by yourself.
